There Can Be No Kings On Stolen Thrones: In Solidarity With Los Angeles Protesters

In response to the militarized reactions to the Los Angeles protests against ICE from the Trump Administration, The Catalyst launched a flash submission campaign to show solidarity. The following poem, "There can be no kings on stolen thrones" , is from Kal Holder.

There can be no kings on stolen thrones.

Static on the TV - Interference with the Airwaves - PUBLIC SAFETY ALERT -

Sirens beckon

Blood against blood

Bone against Bone

Grinding

To dust

Wars are won before they are begun

Those who rise to the highest level of violence

When nothing has changed

But everything is at stake….

Don’t Blink

Don’t Blink

DON’T Blink

DON’t BLINK

DON’T

The revolution will not be televised

The smoke will
