    • Refuse or cancel orders if necessary (including suspected fraud or resale abuse)

If we cancel an order, you will be refunded in full.

  • All prices are listed in USD unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. Payment must be completed at checkout to secure your order or booking. Alternate payment plans must be arranged with us directly, if not facilitated by a third-party payment processor, and an agreement signed by both parties to be valid.

    This means:

    • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our work without permission

    You may not:

    • Copy, reproduce, or republish any work from our authors or artists without permission

    • Create derivative works based on our publications or products without consent

    • Use our materials in ways that obscure, remove, or misrepresent authorship

This includes informal, commercial, and digital contexts alike.

If we become aware of unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution, we reserve the right to:

    • Request removal of the material

    • Issue takedown notices

You may not use, upload, submit, or otherwise make available any Fortuna Major Creative Co content—including publications, books, artwork, or digital products—to train, fine-tune, prompt, or otherwise interact with artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.

This includes (but is not limited to):

    • Uploading text, images, or materials into AI tools or platforms

    • Using our work to generate derivative outputs through AI systems

    • Incorporating our content into datasets used for training or development

Unless otherwise explicitly stated, no permission is granted for AI-related use of our work.

For any submissions to Fortuna Major Press:

    • We do not accept work that is generated by, co-created with, or significantly derived from artificial intelligence systems

    • By submitting work, you confirm that it is your own original, human-created material

We reserve the right to reject or remove work that does not meet these standards.

  • When you purchase or access a digital product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use.

    Unless otherwise specified, this means:

    • You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the product beyond your own use

    • You may not upload or make the product publicly available unless given written permission

Some products may be explicitly marked for broader use (such as educational, community, or resale permissions). In those cases, the terms provided with that product will apply.

  • Our products are created with care, and how they circulate matters.

Unless otherwise specified in the product description or accompanying terms:

    • Products may not be resold, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes

    • Bulk purchasing for the purpose of resale is not permitted

Where we do allow sharing, resale, or redistribution, we will say so clearly. Those permissions are intentional—and limited to what is explicitly granted.

  • We publish and platform work in collaboration with its creators.

Unless otherwise specified by written agreement:

    • Authors and artists retain ownership of their work

    • Fortuna Major is granted a limited right to publish, distribute, and promote that work as part of our offerings

    • We do not claim ownership over creator work beyond what is necessary to share it

We are here to build connection.

  • By submitting work, you confirm that:

    • You are the original creator or have full rights to submit the material

    • The work does not infringe on the rights of any third party

    • The work is not generated by or substantially derived from artificial intelligence systems

You agree to indemnify Fortuna Major Creative Co against claims arising from breach of these assurances.

    • Our offerings are not a substitute for licensed medical, legal, financial, or mental health services

    • We do not guarantee specific outcomes from any product, service, or experience

You remain responsible for your own choices, interpretations, and integration.

  • For services, sessions, or events, additional policies (including cancellation and rescheduling terms) may apply and will be outlined at the point of booking.

By booking, you agree to those terms.

  • Where our work involves shared space (events, workshops, gatherings), participation is contingent on mutual respect.

We reserve the right to remove or refuse participation to anyone engaging in harmful, abusive, or extractive behavior.

  • Our site may include links to third-party websites or feature work from other creators.

Refunds/Returns

  • Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final.

    This includes:

    • Books (including small press and limited-run titles)

    • Art prints and original artwork

    • Merchandise (apparel, totes, hats, etc.)

    • Digital products and downloads

We encourage you to read product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

  • If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at with:

    • Your order number

    • A description of the issue

    • Clear photos of the item and packaging

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

    • A replacement

    • A refund

    • Store credit

  • If your package is marked as delivered but cannot be located, please first check with your local carrier or neighbors.

If the issue remains unresolved, contact us and we’ll do our best to support you. However, we cannot guarantee replacements or refunds for packages lost after confirmed delivery.

  • We only accept returns if:

    • An item arrives damaged or defective, and

    • A return is requested and approved in advance

    If a return is approved:

    • Items must be unused and in original condition

    • Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless the error was ours

  • All digital product sales are final.

Due to the nature of downloadable materials, we cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations once access has been granted.

If you experience technical issues, reach out—we will ensure you receive what you purchased.

  • From time to time, we offer items on a pre-order basis—especially for publications and limited releases.

By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that:

    • The item is not yet ready to ship

    • Estimated shipping timelines are provided, but may shift due to production or supply factors

Pre-orders are charged at the time of purchase and are considered final.

We will communicate any significant delays. If a project is canceled or cannot be fulfilled, you will be refunded in full.

  • Due to the limited and often irreplaceable nature of art and small-batch items:

    • All sales are final

    • Minor variations are not considered defects

    • We do not offer returns based on preference, change of mind, or expectation mismatch

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed or shipped.

If you need to request a cancellation, contact us as soon as possible—we cannot guarantee changes, but we will try when feasible.

  • We do not offer general exchanges at this time.

  • We take care in what we send out. We ask the same care in how purchases are made.

    This means:

    • Reviewing product details before purchasing

    • Understanding the nature of small press, handmade, and limited-run goods

    • Reaching out with questions before placing an order when needed

Shipping

  • Orders are shipped twice weekly: on Mondays and Fridays.

This schedule allows for a sustainable fulfillment rhythm and ensures each order is handled with care.

If a shipping day falls on a holiday, orders will be shipped on the next business day.

  • Orders are processed in the days leading up to our shipping schedule.

    This means:

    • Your order may take a few days to be prepared before shipment

    • You will receive a confirmation email once your order has shipped

Some products are fulfilled in partnership with external printers or production partners (including print-on-demand services).

    For these items:

    • Processing and shipping timelines may be influenced by our partners’ schedules

    • Fulfillment may take longer than in-house items

    • Items may ship separately depending on how they are produced

We appreciate your patience as part of a slower, more intentional system—one that includes many hands behind the scenes.

  • If your order includes a pre-order item, we generally ship available items separately so you don’t have to wait.

However, if a pre-order item is scheduled to release within 2 weeks of your order:

    • We will hold the order and ship everything together

    • This helps reduce unnecessary split shipments and keeps our fulfillment process sustainable

If you need in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.

  • Shipping is fulfilled through standard carriers (such as USPS or equivalent services).

We use a flat rate shipping fee applied to all orders at checkout (minus digital product purchases).

  • Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout, but are not guaranteed.

Once a package leaves our hands, it is in the care of the shipping carrier. Delays may occur due to:

    • Carrier issues

    • Weather conditions

    • Holidays

    • Customs processing (for international orders)

  • If tracking is available for your order, it will be provided in your shipping confirmation email.

  • Please ensure your shipping information is accurate at checkout.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

    • The customer is responsible for reshipping costs

    • We are not obligated to issue a refund

  • If your package is significantly delayed or appears lost in transit, please contact us.

While we cannot control carrier issues, we will do our best to support you in locating your package.

  • Fortuna Major operates with intention, not urgency.

    This means:

    • We do not offer expedited fulfillment at this time

    • Our shipping rhythm is designed to be sustainable and consistent

Thank you for supporting this disabled owned business.

Booking/Cancellations

  • All sessions, services, and events must be booked in advance.

    • Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated

    • Your booking is not confirmed until payment is received

    • By booking, you agree to this policy in full

  • All appointments are offered within a limited and intentional schedule.

We do not guarantee availability and we are not able to accommodate last-minute or emergency requests.

  • We require at least 24–48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session.

    • Cancellations made within this window may be rescheduled once at no additional cost

    • Cancellations with less than the required notice may result in forfeiture of the session

    • Repeated rescheduling may not be accommodated

We understand life happens, and we're flexible when we can be.

  • If you arrive late to a session:

    • Sessions will still end at the scheduled time

    • Additional time will not be added

We allow a 15-minute grace period for arrival.

    • If you have not arrived within 15 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show and forfeited

    • For in-person sessions, we will remain at the location for up to 20 minutes, after which we will leave

This policy ensures clarity, protects time, and allows the rest of our schedule to remain intact.

  • If you miss your session without notice:

    • The session is considered forfeited

    • No refunds or rescheduling will be offered

Exceptions to this rule are at our discretion.

  • In cases of genuine emergency, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, please reach out as soon as possible.

While we cannot guarantee exceptions, we will approach these situations with care.

  • If Fortuna Major needs to cancel or reschedule a session:

    • You will be offered a reschedule or full refund

    • We will communicate as promptly as possible

  • Our offerings are rooted in creative and healing arts frameworks.

They are not a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or mental health care.

Community Agreements

  • Our instincts are shaped by lived experience, ancestry, and survival.

When you don’t understand someone else’s approach, lead with curiosity instead of judgment.

    • Ask questions

    • Stay open

    • Assume complexity

    • Do what you need to keep yourself safe and trust that others are doing the same

  • Speak from your own experience

    • Use “I” language whenever possible

    • Remember, personal truth and universal truth can be different from each other

  • If someone shares that they’ve been hurt, center their experience first.

    • Listen before explaining

    • Receive before responding

    • Remember that when we start with impact, we’re not saying intent isn’t important

  • Not everything is available for discussion, feedback, or inquiry.

    • Ask before offering advice, interpretation, or critique

    • Respect when someone declines to share or engage

Care includes knowing when not to reach

  • We will not always get it right. What matters is how we respond when we don’t.

    • Be willing to listen and reflect

    • Take responsibility for your impact

    • Engage in repair where possible

    • Don’t assume what someone wants repair to look like

    • Ask for support in this process when you feel like you need it

    • Remember discomfort and danger are not always the same thing

  • Remember that we all have different relationships to difficult or sensitive themes. One way of relating to them is not the only way.

    • When content or trigger warnings are asked for, respect them even if you don’t personally need them

    • Remember everyone is responsible for engaging at their own pace

    • Remember discomfort and danger are not always the same thing

    • Remember it is not your job to distinguish between or define discomfort and danger for someone else; respect how others experience the moment

When sharing content that may be activating or intense:

    • Offer context where possible

    • Respect the capacity of others in the space

    • Be open to redirection if something exceeds our ability to hold it

  • To protect the integrity of our shared space:

    • Do not record, screenshot, or share sessions without explicit permission

    • Do not repost or paraphrase others’ contributions outside the space

    Our lives are not content.

  • This is not a space for behavior rooted in domination, supremacy, or the dismissal of collective pain.

We do not tolerate actions, language, or dynamics that reflect or reinforce:

    • White supremacy

    • Ableism

    • Ageism

    • Classism

    • Sexism

    • Homophobia or transphobia

    • Racism

    • Xenophobia

    • Cultural appropriation

This includes both explicit harm and more subtle forms of dismissal, invalidation, or erasure.

We recognize that difficult, heavy, and even grotesque realities are part of human experience—and may arise in conversation or creative work.

    However:

    • Harm is not to be enacted within the space

    • Violence is not to be reproduced for shock, dominance, or spectacle

    • Sexual violence, in particular, must be approached with extreme care and respect for those impacted

  • To protect the integrity of our spaces, Fortuna Major reserves the right to:

    • Set and uphold boundaries

    • Refuse participation

    • Remove individuals from spaces or offerings

This is done when guidelines are not respected, or when harm cannot be repaired within the container of our spaces.

Together, we can
