Tarot’s major components — symbolism, metaphor, archetype, and ritual — offer us an opportunity to think about and connect aspects of our lives through a more expansive lens. These components play an essential function in habit formation, pattern recognition, meaning-making, and catalyzing change. They ignite our imaginations and our senses.

Through that container of embodied possibility, tarot can support us in feeling more aligned and purposeful in our lives; deepening our relationship to ourselves and the world around us.

Some people want a tarot reader who will tell them exactly what to do and how to do it based on what they see in the cards. I am not that reader.

We will work well together if you would like your reading to be collaborative and conversation-driven. I want you to share what you notice, I want you to ask questions, I want you to be curious and passionate about the story we tell together.

I believe you are the expert on your life and that I will be doing my job well if I am reflecting back to you what you already know within yourself. I may offer new perspectives, new invitations, and new pathways. Yet, at the end of the day, it is my job to support you in connecting with your intuition and authentic desires — the foundations to your sense of direction and power that can never be taken away from you.

I believe who we are, where we come from, how we belong, and the stories we share matter. I believe that the choices we make, both big and small, are significant and have the potential to ripple out through time and space.

If we are all intimately connected and impacted by each other, then we each hold the keys to each other’s wellbeing. We will work well together if you believe that we have a responsibility to care for each other; and to genuinely care for each other we must commit to an ever-evolving process of learning and unlearning. We will work well together if you believe that we must take action now to embody the futures we wish to bring into being.

I am a practicing Norse pagan, and as a core component of that practice I view the world from an animist lens. In other words, I believe that the land, plants, animals, and spirits around us are beings deserving of honor and respect.

While I am beyond happy to work with anyone, from any faith or background, this fierce belief in the worthiness of all beings translates to the messages I give.
