The Devil
REVELATION, RECLAMATION, ANCESTRAL INHERITANCE, (UN)BINDING

The Devil is a revelation.
It is easy to move through the world without intimate awareness of that which attaches us and that which binds us. It is even easier to believe that the limitations of our world are immutable; to forsake our innate power in exchange for a release of obligation. In this exchange, the lines between comfort and stagnancy are blurred by design. For all the ease this may offer, The Devil calls on you to see beyond the illusion, and contend with your complacency.
The Devil does not ask you to undertake this process alone. She is a wayfarer between the realms of life and death, between spirit and earth. When she looks to the sky, she sees her ancestral inheritance in the constellations, and is reminded that for every ancestral wound passed to her there is also ancestral power to enrich her. When she calls upon this wisdom of the borderlands, she hones her capacity to alchemize generations of ache into a future of potential. You, too, have the innate power to channel the wisdom of your ancestors and connect more deeply to the world around you.
The Devil cautions you that this process will be difficult. You will not leave unchanged should you choose to walk this path, nor can you control the reactions of the world around you as you do so. In spite of all the resistance you may encounter, the Devil reminds you there is hope. When you reclaim that which has been shut away, you generate the space for all those who need home and refuge to find true sanctuary.
If the Devil has come into your life, they ask you to be brave in your unbinding, and trust that which lays in store for you is nothing short of decadent.
