Crip Futures: A Disability Pride Zine | Print Edition

from $6.00

Disability Pride Month traces back to 1990, when the Americans with Disabilities Act became law and the first Disability Pride Day was held in Boston. What began as a single day has grown into a global movement rooted in resistance, care, and collective imagination.

Crip Futures is part of that lineage.

This collection gathers disabled artists, writers, scholars, and activists imagining worlds shaped by access, intimacy, and liberation—on our own terms. These are not distant futures. They are already within us.

This print edition of the collection is a saddle-stiched literary zine made on 5×7” uncoated 80lb paper that is 100% recycled.

Price transparency:
It costs $4 to print this zine. Our sliding scale pre-orders range from $6-$15. For every purchase on that sliding scale, a minimum of $1 and a maximum of $5 will be sent to Sins Invalid. The remaining funds are used to support Fortuna Major Press’s operations.

*Our sustainer, wealth redistributor, and pay it forward tiers are meant for community members who wish to use their money to help us build a free distribution catalogue. These zines will be used for mutual aid efforts, zine libraries, and providing free copies to low income community members. Those that would like their own copy of the zine should use our other sliding scale tiers.

Please note: This zine is for personal use and community distribution only. Resale or fundraising use requires permission from Fortuna Major Press.
