River Valley Radical Futures: Exhibition Opening at the Taber Art Gallery

  • Taber Art Gallery at Holyoke Community College 303 Homestead Ave Holyoke, MA 01040 United States (map)

Kick off the spring semester with a new exhibition that asks, "What might the Valley look like 100 years after capitalism?"

Curated by Alix Gerber, Designing Radical Futures has spent the last few years working with area artists, worker co-operatives, and mutual aid groups to imagine a future with completely different social systems and economies. Community workshops with partnering groups focused on how their missions and values might change the world around them. Drawings and stories from these workshops were the source material for the artwork on view, creating physical manifestations for a possible future
